Theory of turbulence in superfluid He4

A consideration of the dynamics of a vortex tangle leads to a new equation describing turbulence in superfluid helium. The equation is seen to be remarkably successful in predicting the steady-state properties of dissipative counterflow. © 1977 The American Physical Society.
