Magnetisation reversal and thermal activation in CoCrPt patterned media
Abstract
Magnetization reversal and thermal activation in CoCrPt patterned media were discussed. Switching field distribution and thermal decay rates were studied by magnetic force microscopy (MFM) imaging and Kerr rotation. Results showed reduction in coercivity and width of the swiching field distribution.
