Sahdev Zala

Sahdev P. Zala is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM. Sahdev has been an open source developer for over a decade and currently focused on the PyTorch and Kubernetes upstream development. He serves as a PyTorch Ambassador. Sahdev is a maintainer for the CNCF etcd project, which is a primary datastore of Kubernetes. He has also served as a selected Member of Program Committee for many KubeCons. Previously, he was a core contributor to the OpenStack project and a Technical Committee member of the OASIS TOSCA.

Sahdev owns multiple patents issued by USPTO. He has been a speaker at many KubeCons, OpenStack Summits, IBM Think conferences, various Linux Foundation conferences, PyTorch Conference, All Things Open Conferences, and local open-source Meetups. Sahdev’s work has been published in the Journal of Grid Computing, International Journal of Computer Science and Information Technologies, cncf.io, Container Journal, and other prestigious media.
