Bio
Murtaza Zohair received a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received a PhD at Iowa State University working on multifunctional electrochemical devices and data-driven prediction of high energy density battery failure. He subsequently joined the Energy Storage Group at IBM Almaden Research Center as a Research Scientist in 2022. His is currently working on high-throughput materials characterization and artificial intelligence assisted discovery of battery materials.
