Bio
Luciano Bello is a Senior Research Software Engineer at IBM Research – Zurich, specializing in quantum computing software and open-source technologies. His current research focuses on quantum program compilation and the integration of quantum services with high-performance computing. A long-standing contributor to the Qiskit project, IBM’s open-source quantum computing framework, he helps shaping its core architecture and expanding its ecosystem.
He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology in 2016.
