Ali Javadi-Abhari is a Principal Research Scientist at IBM where he directs the research and development of quantum information software. He is a key architect of IBM’s quantum's software stack, including Qiskit, and has numerous publications in the areas of quantum compilation, architecture, and fault-tolerance. He is the 2025 recipient of the IEEE QTC Early Career Award. He received his PhD from Princeton in 2017.
