Random network models used in describing a covalently bonded material such as amorphous silicon or germanium can be transformed to a dense random-packed model used in describing metallic amorphous solids or liquids. Similarly a dense random- packed model can bo transformed to a random network model. The methodology and results of these transforms are describod and compared with experimental results for amorphous germanium. © 1975, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
