Small-angle neutron scattering measurements of magnetic cluster sizes in magnetic recording disks

A discussion about the small-angle neutron scattering measurements of magnetic cluster sizes in magnetic disks was presented. It was found that the average magnetic cluster size was slightly larger than the average physical grain size. The results showed that the intergranular magnetic coupling in the magnetic recording media was small.
