Security Metrics in Pre-Silicon Processor and System Design

Today’s industrial processor and system design involves various metrics, but security-related metrics are often considered post-silicon. This presentation describes a vision where security-related metrics are integral to pre-silicon modeling and trade-off analysis, with a focus on side-channel attacks (SCA) and other aspects of secure computing.
