The Sn and Fe hyperfine fields in the Heusler alloy, Rh2FeSn, have been determined in the present work using the Mössbauer effect to be +55 and -289kOe at 77K. A connection is suggested with the hyperfine field systematics in the binary alloy, FeRh, and a phenomenological common basis of interpretation is proposed. The general features of the model are in good agreement with data reported in the literature. © 1976.
