Recent progress in high-temperature stable nonlinear optical chromophores

Nonlinear optical (NLO) detrices have the potential to make a strong impact in the areas of communications, computing, and optical storage. Polymeric organic NLO materials which are compatible with existing semiconductor processing are particularly attractive for these devices.
