Scanning tunnelling microscope (STM) images of the c(2√3×4)rect layer of benzene and carbon monoxide co‐adsorbed on the Rh(111) surface are shown. For the first time, individual CO molecules have been resolved, as well as ring‐like benzene structures. 1988 Blackwell Science Ltd
