On the specific heat of KDP in the vicinity of the ferroelectric transition

Stephenson's specific heat data on KH2PO4 is analyzed in the vicinity of the ferroelectric Curie temperature and found to exhibit a (Tc - T)- 1 2 variation for T < Tc suggesting an enhancement of classical behavior in comparison with the weaker singularity generally observed in gaseous or magnetic systems. © 1967.
