Nonlinear optical response of conduction electrons in a superlattice

The nonlinear optical response of conduction electrons in a one-dimensional superlattice has been examined theoretically. Our results indicate that such structure may be a promising medium for nonlinear mixing of photons. © 1971 The American Institute of Physics.
