Monte Carlo study of superconductivity in the three-band Emery model

We have examined the three-band Hubbard model for the copper oxide planes in high-temperature superconductors using the projector quantum Monte Carlo method. We find no evidence for s-wave superconductivity. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
