The magnetizations of the superconducting sulfur nitrogen polymer (SN)x and its brominated modification, (SNBr0.4)x, have been studied as a function of magnetic field and temperature. There is anisotropy in the magnetization observed in both materials. However, (SNBr0.4)x behaves more like a bulk superconductor than (SN)x does, indicating stronger interfiber coupling in the former. © 1980 The American Physical Society.
