Implementation of WS-Security and Its Performance Improvements

There is a strong demand for the secure provision and utilization of Web services. The Web Services Security (WS-Security) specification was drafted to meet that demand. We implemented the part of the specification including XML digital signatures and XML encryption. From this implementation we found some performance bottlenecks and worked to minimize their impact.
