High-order spectral-null codes: Constructions and bounds

Derives upper and lower bounds on the cardinality and minimum distance of the set S(n,k) of length-n sequences with order-k spectral null at zero frequency. The authors also provide constructions of block codes that are subsets of S(n,k) with rate approaching unity as n → ∞. © 1994 IEEE.
