High information content passive OLED displays
Abstract
Large format OLED displays may be fabricated by patterning a seamless matrix of passively driven arrays onto a printed circuit board. Printed circuit board vias connect up display drivers located on the printed circuit board's backside. Design details are presented. Comparisons with conventional passive matrix and active matrix OLED displays are provided.
