From Virtual Football to Fit Freshmen

Microsoft imagines how professional football might be experienced in a future of virtual reality, especially with the Microsoft HoloLens. In a high-production video, Microsoft presents a vision of television, free from the constraints of the TV itself, portraying the field of players across a coffee table and having players crash through the walls of the viewer's home. The unique twist here is that it leverages a combination of digital projectors and the Microsoft Kinect depth camera to capture the live image of a person. Room2Room projects that image such that it fits into the contents of the room, as if the person is virtually sitting atop a real couch.
