Dismountable media management in tertiary storage systems
Abstract
We describe an adaptive algorithm for tertiary storage media mount management. This predictive longest next reference (LNR) mount management algorithm attempts to approximate the optimal page replacement policy, OPT [1], [2]. © 1997 IEEE.
