Connectionless data service in an ATM-based customer premises network

We give an overview of methods that provide connectionless data service in a customer premises network based on AT > switches and ATM links. Under the assumption that a prospective user already has software for accessing a LAN in the usual connectionless mode, a connectionless data service is presented here which emulates traditional LAN access services. Several different methods are discussed. © 1994.
