Bridging to the cloud: Solution design trends helping "legacy" systems leverage cloud computing

Solution design trends in cloud computing challenge the application architecture of the past decade. These trends were born from a confluence of evolving technologies that have radically redefined the characteristics we can expect of a solution-the software, infrastructure, management, and operations.
