Abstract
The title compound, synthesized from 4,5-ethylenediseleno-1,3-diselenol-2-one (5,6-dihydro-1,3,4,7-tetraselenainden-2-one) via trimethyl phosphite coupling, has been characterized and several charge-transfer salts of this new π-donor have been prepared. © Royal Society of Chemistry.
