Associative retrieval of holographic digital data

A study is investigating associative retrieval as an enhancement of digital holographic data storage. This report discusses ways to maximize search functionality using as little of the spatial light modulator (SLM) as possible. This leads to some considerations that are unlike those found in the correlation of analog images.
