Application of Evolutionary Algorithms in Controlling Semi-autonomous Mission-Critical Distributed Systems

In this paper, we describe a new application of the evolutionary algorithms in solving the resource allocation problems encountered in mission-critical, semi-autonomous systems. After describing the problem and our approach for solving the optimization problem, we present some preliminary performance data.
