A new condition based linear asset dynamic segmentation approach

Linear Asset is taking an increasingly important role in daily life. Segmentation serves as the fundamental issue for maintenance and further analysis. In this paper, we propose a new condition based dynamic segmentation approach, which keeps the within-segment consistency of the asset condition while making segments easily managed according to user input. In order to measure the segmentation performance, we design new evaluation criterion and conduct a group of experiments to verify our approach with other algorithms. © 2012 IEEE.
