Haig A. Peter is Manager of the IBM Think Lab Europe & IBM Innovation Studio. Co-located on the campus of the internationally recognized IBM Research – Zurich laboratory, the Think Lab is the door to IBM Research for IBM’s clients and business partners. It’s where they can explore what’s next in Hybrid Cloud, AI, Quantum, Security and Science. It opens a world of insights from world-class researchers, industry and trend experts and inspires new pathways for innovation. Haig meets regularly with clients from various industries to discuss the tremendous strides in the Future of Computing and artificial intelligence. Clients look for ways to accelerate innovation and discover solutions faster to drive progress, seize new opportunities and tackle today’s complex challenges. The latest IBM Research strategy, called Accelerated Discovery, combines the strengths of artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, HPC, and soon quantum computing that benefit clients. Haig has been an invited keynote speaker at many conferences around Europe on the topics of AI, Accelerated Discovery, and the IBM Research “What’s Next” which identifies significant trends and identifies high- impact disruptive technologies leading to game-changing products and services over a 3- 5-year horizon.
