Brian Pearson

Brian Pearson is a Business Development Executive at IBM Quantum, where he supports enterprises in their adoption of quantum technology and works to bridge academia, national laboratories, and the broader quantum ecosystem. He partners with clients to translate quantum research into practical enterprise use cases and to build the institutional and developer pipelines that quantum advantage will depend on.

Brian was previously Head of Business Development at qBraid, a quantum computing platform company, where he led commercial strategy and partnerships across academia and industry. Earlier in his career, he drove quantum go to market efforts at SandboxAQ and held enterprise cloud sales roles at Okta, advising clients on technology strategy and adoption.

A passionate advocate for quantum’s impact on business and society, Brian is active across the Chicago quantum ecosystem, including the Chicago Quantum Exchange and the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park. He has emceed Quantum Developer Day and spoken at CES 2026 and the Florida Quantum Conference.

Brian holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Information Technology from Florida State University.
